After learning about the Somerset Community Food Pantry during our schoolwide food drive in November, these Spartans knew they wanted to find a way to give back. Recently, their families held a garage sale, and the students helped raise additional funds by selling lemonade and cookies.
This week, they proudly delivered their donation to the Somerset Community Food Pantry, showing what it means to be caring members of our community. We are so proud of their generosity, initiative, and Spartan spirit!

The Spartans earned an impressive 8-0 WIAA Regional First Round victory over Rice Lake and advance to the Regional Semifinal! They will host Amery on Tuesday, June 2, at 5:00 PM.

8th Grade Poetry Slam Finals at the PAC! All 8th grade students wrote and performed slam poems in their ELA classes, and the top performances advanced to today’s final competition!

Our Second Grade Scientists tested whether radish seeds could grow without light…and the answer was YES! 🌱
Although the seedlings weren’t as dark green and healthy-looking, they still grew. A fun hands-on science experiment for our young scientists! 👏 #SomersetSpartanPride
Congratulations to Alex Caroon, Carly Brihn, and Deacon Garn on an outstanding performance, earning 2nd place with an impressive score of 297/300 at Northwood’s IT–Cybersecurity Computer Hacking Competition!
We also want to recognize Ben Belisle, Sam Kurtz, and Tommy Schmitt for finishing in the top 10.

On Saturday, April 25, the SHS juniors celebrated prom with the theme “A Night in Hollywood.” ✨ Following the promenade at the Performing Arts Centre, students continued the celebration by dancing the night away at the Riverbend Venue at River’s Edge.
The 2026 Junior Prom Court included Shyann Dornseif, Lily Parnell, Isabelle Johnson, Amelia Vrieze, Prom Queen Sawyer Schmidt, Prom King Blake Thiel, Braden Bignell, Kellen Donnelly, Nick Carufel, and Caleb Linkletter.
Junior Prince and Princess were Preston Johnson and Rylinn Kiekhoefer.

Boys Golf won the Colfax Invitational, tying for first with Eau Claire North. The title was decided by a tiebreaker, with our 5th golfer’s score edging out Eau Claire North’s 5th golfer.
