Mr. Klinger’s 7th-grade Earth Science students kicked off their unit on water with a hands-on lab at Larry Forrest Park. Students collected and tested water samples from the pond, investigated several water properties, and analyzed their findings. A great way to take learning outside the classroom and put science into action! 💧 #SomersetSpartanPride

Ms. Berger’s kindergarten class learned that all animals need food! Students brought their learning to life by pretending to be quail digging for seeds in the dirt, raccoons searching for snails in the mud, and woodpeckers pecking for grubs. Congratulations to Belle Thielke on an outstanding finish at the Middle Border Conference Tournament! 👏 Belle placed 5th individually at the conference tournament and finished 12th overall in the conference standings for the season, earning Third Team All-Conference honors. Students in Mr. Herink’s Building Construction Class gained valuable, hands-on, real-world experience yesterday as they poured a concrete apron for a community member. A special thank you to St. Croix Products of St. Croix Falls for donating the concrete and supporting this learning opportunity. They were fantastic to work with from start to finish! We are grateful for community partners who help our students take their classroom skills into the real world! #SomersetSpartanPride

Drop off plastic anytime between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., or send it to school with your child. Did you know the food pantry is working to earn a Trex bench with the recycled plastic? Mrs. Bergeson’s Day Camp Session 2 was packed with fun and adventure! ☀️ Campers made clouds, created sand art and masks, walked to Circle K for hot dogs, chips, and drinks, experimented with a solar oven while making s’mores, made sugar scrubs, enjoyed a nail salon day, swam at Osceola Pool, and created bubble snakes! #SomersetSpartanPride
