The School District of Somerset is currently inviting proposals from qualified attorneys and law firms to provide Professional Public Education Legal Services. We are seeking a partner with demonstrated experience in K-12 education law, labor relations, student services, and general public school operations to assist our Board of Education and administration on an hourly rate agreement.

As you review the specifications, please note the following key dates and deadlines for this selection process:
Questions for Clarification Deadline: Tuesday, May 26, 2026, by 4:00 PM
Proposal Submission Deadline: Tuesday, June 2, 2026, by 4:00 PM
Finalist Notifications: June 5, 2026, by 4:00 PM
Finalist Interviews: June 8, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM (In-person or virtual)
Each firm will have 30 minutes to present. The first 10 minutes will allow for a presentation from the firm and the final 20 minutes will allow for a question and answer session.
