Virtual Learning Coordinator/Media Specialist Email Phone: (715) 247-4848, Ext. 260 I started teaching in Somerset in the fall of 2013 as the high school Library Media Specialist. Then in the fall of 2020, I became the district Virtual Learning Coordinator. In this role I coordinate the virtual learning program, as well as help all staff members incorporate technology into their curriculum and teaching. Graduating high school in 2000, I then traveled to UW-River Falls when I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education after the fall semester 2005. From 2006 to 2011, I was employed at Osceola Middle School teaching computers and finance. There I coached middle football and track. In the fall of 2011 I switched roles and schools becoming the Library Media Specialist at Viking Middle School in Woodville. I was still seeking that perfect fit and found it in 2013 at Somerset High School and the rest is history. In 2019, I received my Masters in Library Media and Education Technologies from UW-Whitewater. I have been married to my high school sweetheart since 2005 and we have 2 wonderful boys that were born in 2012 and 2015. We love camping, fishing, hiking, and pretty much anything outdoors and sports related. Travel is a big part of our lives and if my wife and I are not taking some time away, we hook up the camper and travel the country with the boys. Sports plays a big role in my life. I am currently the High School Track & Field coach and an assistant Football coach. If I am not coaching, I am cheering on the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers. Go Pack Go!
