The Registration Informational Presentation meetings originally scheduled for March 6th have been rescheduled for March 11th.

Did you know that there are several options to earn credit through summer school? Registration for Summer School classes that earn credit is open now through March 14th.
These are great opportunities to accelerate their path towards graduation, ability to be off-campus for college classes, or catch up on credits.

Today (3/1/25) we have several big events for our Spartans.
Matheo Ngbemeneh wrestles at WIAA State this morning at approximately 10:00 AM.
Boys Hockey hosts River Falls in a WIAA Sectional Final game in Somerset at 1 PM.
Girls Basketball travels to SCC in a WIAA Regional Final game at 7 PM.

Students from SHS visited UW-River Falls yesterday to attend their Day of Music . The event shows students a "day in the life" of a music student at UW-River Falls. Thank you to Ms. Pfeifer for taking the group! #GoSpartans
On March 6th SHS will be hosting Registration Information Presentations for the 25-26 school year. Incoming 9th grade (Class of 2029) at 6:00 PM. Grades 10, 11, and 12 for next year at 6:45 PM.
Additionally Start College Now/Early College Credit Program information was recently sent out and applications are due by 3:20 PM on Friday February 28th.

Guaranteed orders close February 21 and are now $62.00. Yearbooks that are not pre-ordered will be $70.
On Friday SHS recognized January Students of the Month at the Student of the Month Breakfast! #GoSpartans
SHS will be hosting Office Hours on February 5th from 4:oo to 5:30 PM. This is an opportunity for parents to come in to connect with teachers regarding their student.

Somerset Robotics had an outstanding trip to Green Bay for their tournament at Lambeau Field! A special shout out to team 9144G Spartan Button Bumping Bidoofs who were the Sportsmanship winners of the NE WI Showdown signature event!
Last night SHS presented Academic Excellence Certificates (3.50-3.99 or 4.0+ in either semester) as well as Academic Letters (based on cumulative GPA at the end of the school year) for the 23-24 school year.
Class of 2026 (Juniors): SHS has a Dual Enrollment partnership with Northwood Technical College in New Richmond for the Welding Academy! SHS Alumni and NCAA Division 1 Track and Field Student-Athletes Eve Goldstein (University of North Dakota) and Caymen Gebheim (South Dakota State University) competed in the same meets yesterday in Brookings SD! Goldstein won the shot put while Gebheim had a PR in shot put. (📸credit Nicole Miner)
