The Somerset Middle School Agenda program is a school-wide process in which students are taught the importance and practice of goal setting, time management techniques and school organization concepts. All fifth grade students are expected to fill out their agenda subject area before leaving class each day. Students are responsible for having a parent/guardian sign their agenda each day.
Our character education program, Character Counts, consists of six "pillars" or character traits. They are trust, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Fifth graders spend time discussing these positive character traits and the impact these traits have on their daily lives.
